During our latest round of updates and additions, we’ve made significant improvements to our proxy voting feature, and have expanded our Spanish and French template offerings.

Proxy Voting Feature Available on the Mobile App

Submitting a proxy has never been easier. It’s now possible to cast proxy votes through our mobile app.

Proxy voting allows owners to have their say, even if they are unable to attend a meeting to cast their vote. Using Condo Control’s proxy voting feature, people can delegate their vote to another owner without filling out physical paperwork.

Having the option to submit proxies and participate in live meetings from a mobile device not only makes it easier for owners to engage in important decisions, it also increases a community’s chances of reaching quorum.  

Edit Classified Ads after they’re Published

Classified ads are a great way to let community members sell and buy products and services. Condo Control’s classified ads feature eliminates the need for other social media marketplace sites, and encourages a safer way for residents to exchange goods. Residents can now edit ads after they’re published. If they need to include more information, or want to change the price, it’s an easy fix.

New Spanish and French Email Templates

Automate email communications in Spanish or French using our broad collection of email templates. We continue to build on our template database so that you can serve your community better, regardless of whether residents prefer to receive messages in English, Spanish or French. Some of these templates include:

• Welcome emails for new residents
• Online payment confirmations
• Package pickup reminders
• Purchase Order Emails
• Discussion Forum for Followers

Rank Candidates in Proxy Voting

We have rolled out a functionality allowing users to rank candidates if they are submitting a proxy vote. So, if one of the candidates is eliminated during a live vote, the owner can still support a preferred option, even if their first choice isn’t available.

Add Candidate Photos and Bios for Proxy Voting

It’s now possible for admins to select a workspace setting which, once enabled, allows them to add photos, biographies and short descriptions for each election candidate. People voting through proxy can see the candidate information and photos which makes it easier for them to know who they’re voting for.
